Potbellied Pig Raised With 5 Dogs Believes He Is Just Like His Furry Friends

Dogs are, without a doubt, man’s best companion. But do you know who their other best buddies are? Chowder!

Chowder is a six-year-old Vietnamese pot-bellied pig that lives with his human, Shelby Madere, in South Carolina. Do you know who else lives with him, though? His five-dog posse!

Shelby Madere looks after Chowder and numerous other creatures. However, he has spent much of his life with his rescue canine friends, Bashe, Nya, Rika, and others, since he was a piglet.

Pigs are clever and sociable animals by nature. As a result, Chowder adopted canine behavior while growing up with his friends. As a result, he grew up as a member of the canine species and is today more dog-like than pig-like.

Chowder, like the rest of his gang, is obsessed with cuddling. He also enjoys fetching and spending time outside with the other dogs in the home.

Chowder and his pals share the same interests, wear the same collars, and share the same backyard. His, on the other hand, will have to be manufactured to order due to his bigger stature. He and his animal companions don’t let their differences get in the way of having a good time.

Shelby spotted Chowder on Craigslist and adopted him with five rescue dogs so he could have the life he deserved. She had no idea, however, that she was growing a pig to act like a dog.

Chowder, like his furry companions, enjoys oink-ing at passers-by from their front door. He also enjoys playing fetch with his friends – as much as he can – and requires as much care as they do.
