Because of his physical and mental state, the poor dog was in desperate need of veterinary attention and nourishment. The employees at the rescue center quickly rushed to his case and sought the assistance he required to take it forward.
Rescue Dogs Rock NYC volunteer and Texas team leader Randie Semel told The Dodo:
“We definitely got up and agreed since he looked so miserable and was in such a horrible condition.” We couldn’t determine what sort of dog it was, and it had obviously been in pain for a long time. It resembled a statue rather than a live being.
Grinch was rushed to the vet right away to begin treatments for his skin and other problems, as well as to help him gain weight so he could be healthy. The Grinch responded well to the therapies and was placed in a foster family shortly after.
He was healing in the foster family, but he was still shy as a result of his lengthy time on the streets.
«He was a timid young man who was terrified of everyone around him. He kept his distance from other dogs.
The puppy’s health and attitude improved as a result of his foster mother’s care, and his coat gradually grew back. He was becoming more self-assured, and his humorous nature was beginning to show.
“He has excelled in his foster home and enjoys playing ball. He has a lovely appearance and enjoys running and playing.
The rescue center volunteer went on to say:
“He is completely adored by his host family. He’s a wonderful dog. Love everyone.”
