Many people believe that the devoted cat that spends every day on a manhole cover in Belgorod, southeast Russia, is there because he is used to receiving food from locals rather than anticipating that his family would return for him after cruelly leaving him.
According to this man, the cat was left behind after his local relatives moved away. In addition, he said that numerous witnesses observed the cat chasing his family as they left the home, but they continued on their way and never came back. Ever then, he has continued to visit that location in the hopes of bumping into them.

This is a wonderful illustration of both genuine animal devotion and human evil.
Zadunayskiy also gave gratitude to the generous businesspeople who over the years have fed and loved the cat.
However, since the publication of the tale, a lot of people have cited the line from Antoine de Saint-novel Exupéry’s The Little Prince, which reads as follows:
“You are permanently accountable for what you have tamed.”
