One-Eyed Dog Due To Abuse Lives A Happy Life Now
Many incidents of abuse surround us, and on many occasions, the most defenseless suffer, like in the case of Bubbles, a bull terrier puppy who was horribly tortured. This little girl was shot by a callous guy, who then struck her with a hammer and caused her to lose an eye and part of her jaw.
Bubbles was just 6 months old when she was taken in by a dog shelter in Houston, Texas, where a CT scan revealed the route of the bullet she had received.
This resulted in him losing his right eye as well as his jaw and inner ear.

Kilyn Horton Blanchard and Ike Blanchard, proprietors of a mobile dog grooming firm, were volunteering at the shelter in September 2017 when they encountered Bubbles, who had come seriously ill.
Kilyn stated to Metro:
“His right jaw joint had been shattered, and the broken bones had healed into a calcified mass. Bubbles’ mouth could only open approximately half an inch. It’s incredible that she can eat everything.”

Kilyn Horton and her husband finally adopted Bubbles. She stated that as soon as she saw the small puppy, she knew she had to get her.
Kilyn stated:
“She was sleeping in her kennel, but the moment we opened it, she came out and put her head on my breast, wanting to be loved.”

Bubbles, according to Kilyn, never allows his infirmities stop him from living his life, and he attempts to encourage people to adopt special-needs dogs.

She stated:
“There is a lot of cruelty in the world, but we want people to know that if they come across an injured or abusive shelter dog, it doesn’t always mean it’s broken; sometimes they’re just scared: all they need is a little love, and they have a lot to give in return.”
