Breanna has been begging her parents for a puppy for the past three years. Despite the fact that her family already had a large, wonderful rescue dog, Breanna was longing for a little dog. Her parents were hesitant to buy a second dog at first, but after some consideration, they decided to go ahead and purchase one — and they wanted to keep it a surprise.
Breanna has lost a few close family members over the years and has relocated numerous times, with her family having to relocate again lately. With all of the changes and struggles she’s had to face, her parents decided that having a furry little buddy of her own to care for would be beneficial to her in a variety of ways.
Breanna’s mother, Jennifer Kvande, told The Dodo, “She was going to a new house, school, friends, and location, so we believed having a pal would help her settle.” “We thought Breanna would be a fantastic canine mom since she is such a precious spirit and has such a wonderful, caring heart!”
Breanna’s father pretended to have a bunch of new stuffed animals to gift her one day. He took one from the car and handed it to her before going to get the next one…
…and instead presented Breanna with Arya, her brand-new dog.
Breanna gasped when she first spotted Arya, and then burst into tears as she cradled her new best friend.
Kvande remarked, “Her reaction touched our hearts in a manner I didn’t believe was possible.” “Her genuine delight and immediate affection were tremendous. I knew we [had] picked her best buddy when she started weeping and said, “My baby.” Something she wouldn’t have to give up.”
Breanna was overjoyed and delighted, and when her mother asked if she liked her new puppy, she said, “Yes, I adore her!”
Breanna and Arya have become fast friends. Breanna hasn’t allowed her new best friend out of her sight since she came, and she is grateful to her parents for bringing her home.
“They do everything together and have already formed an unbreakable relationship,” added Kvande. “They haven’t been separated for more than five minutes.” Arya is a great dog, and Breanna has taken such good care of her! I’m sure they’ll spend many happy years together.”
