A little cat with Yoda-like ears was taken into a North Carolina veterinary facility and immediately won everyone’s heart.
She was located alone on the streets and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and a neck wound after being checked. She was sent to Cabarrus Animal Hospital for treatment, where she melted the hearts of everyone she met.
“Dr. Alisha Kidwell, DVM, is treating her. Jana Aviles, a veterinary assistant at the facility, described her as “a nice girl who is extremely loving.” “They don’t know how old she is (exactly).” She’s a baby, about a year old. For an adult cat, she’s rather petite.”
This beautiful kitten weighs just under 7 pounds and frequently puts her tongue out due to missing teeth, but all of this adds to her charm. This beautiful kitten weighs just under 7 pounds and frequently puts her tongue out due to missing teeth, but all of this adds to her charm.
She enjoys human companionship, especially when hugged, and she is frequently carried in the sweatshirts of the workers, where she falls asleep like a baby kangaroo. “She’s quiet and hesitant at first, but once you start caressing her, she melts into your hands. Jana described her as “simply a tiny little cuddle-bug, a lap kitty.”
The team at the animal hospital hasn’t given her an official name yet, but she’s been affectionately dubbed Yoda Cat since her ears resemble those of a newborn Yoda.
This lucky kitten will be offered for adoption after she has completely healed, and we are confident she will have a happy life in her permanent home.
