Due to her huge 12-inch nose, a lovable borzoi dog in Richmond, Virginia has become a social media celebrity. Eris is her Instagram handle, and she already has almost 200 thousand followers.
Eris’ mother, Lily Kambourian, frequently uploads gorgeous images of her adorable borzoi.
“Eris was born in Keysville, Virginia, to a litter of three puppies. When we went to see the puppies, it was clear that they had a biting problem. Because it is a hereditary issue, they would be disqualified from any dog show. That didn’t bother us, though. She came up to [Savannah’s] lap and sat on her lap.”
According to LadBible, the adorable puppy was called Lily after the Greek goddess of war and discord. In her social media accounts, she goes by the name «Madame Eris Overbite, Queen of Snoots».
Lily continued, ”
“We’ve begun to locate areas in the neighborhood where we can really take a stroll while we’re walking Eris since most folks are trying to figure out what breed she is.”
Despite her unusual snout, Lily claims that Eris has no problems with her nose. Eris is 4 feet 9 inches tall and has a snout that spans 12.2 inches.
The lady declares:
“When he was a puppy, we were advised that he would have dental issues, where his teeth might dig into the gums and he might require his canines removed.”
Lily expresses her relief by saying:
“However, she just walked by.” Her large nose isn’t an issue; she dumps food all over the place, but so do I. If we give him a marrow bone to eat, he will chew on it for hours, unlike other dogs who will devour it fast. She enjoys seeing humans and other dogs, although she is apprehensive around extremely little dogs. She can be irritable at times, but because borzoi are so quiet, she is endearing. “I don’t believe we ever heard her bark.”
Lily believes her darling Eris has a world-record-breaking snout, albeit this has not been proven.
Lily continued, ”
“We hadn’t really considered having the record keepers check Eris because she’s very good at sticking her nose into very small spaces between sofas, fences, or people enjoying a meal at a table, so her pointy nose is advantageous there, though we wouldn’t be against doing something like that once the world is more normal. To be honest, we’re not sure how to go about it!”
“We’ve enjoyed being a part of the Instagram dog community, despite the fact that we started the page as a scrapbook. She’s a wonderful person, and we’re honored to be a part of her life.”
