Adorable Moment A Lion Rescued From A Circus Is Reunited With His Daughter After Surgery

This sweet reunion between a lion that was saved from a circus and his kid follows extensive dental work. The animals were sent to a refuge in South Africa after being rescued from a Peruvian circus.

Leo the father lion was in such terrible health from the torture that he had dental work to replace his damaged teeth after the lions were saved from a circus in Peru.

Still dazed from the anaesthetic, he frantically searched for his daughter Africa after he emerged from the procedure.

Africa extended her paw outside the fence in an effort to sense her father’s presence nearby.

At the Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa, a father and daughter can then be seen poking their heads over the fence.

They were helicoptered in from South America and are now being looked for by an organization called Animal Defenders International (ADI).

Jan Creamer, president of ADI, said that the video “shows the strength of the family bond in a group of lions.”
