This Dog Was Completely Alone Because They Said He Was Bad, But He Found A Family And Now He Is Very Happy

This 5-year-old Chihuahua was turned up to a shelter in Los Angeles, California, by his previous owners. The wife claimed that he had bit someone; whether or not this is true, it is a common excuse for leaving. Quarter has a history of being abandoned and was known to be hostile.

Shortly after being brought to the shelter, he was already embroiled in another issue.

Little Diva Rescue’s foster and transportation coordinator, Traci Jean Gallegos-Schuver, told The Dodo:

“Shelter employees became more cautious when dealing with violent dog admissions. He allegedly bit one of the shelter staff members while they were attempting to process him.

Following this, Quarter was put in isolation, where he had very little contact with other individuals. An animal under quarantine can only be released to a rescue group or organization that consents to severe terms in a legal waiver.

This entails that the rescue center absolves itself of any liability for any harm that may be caused to a third party.

He was ultimately permitted to be transported to the Little Diva Rescue animal rescue facility after spending three weeks in confinement. Later, he underwent a veterinary examination and received a new name, “Teddy.”

“He was a little apprehensive, but he never displayed any aggressive behavior. Any. Oh my God, he’s simply a misunderstood dog, even the vet said.

Teddy was brought to his temporary residence by Traci Jean Gallegos-Schuver for three weeks. She was a little concerned about his behavior when she had to leave him alone with a friend one night, but she was pleasantly surprised to see that he did not cause any issues.
