Nurse Cared For A Dog While His Adoptive Father Was Hospitalized

Truck driver Jose Carbajal frequently travels across the nation as part of his profession. He always brings Mr. Midnight, a lovely 8-month-old puppy, who is his greatest companion, along. Due to Carbajal’s health, they were forced to part ways for a while. He was very concerned about what would happen to his dog while he was in the hospital, but a nurse by the name of Deanna Mahaley offered to look after Mr. Midnight.

Jose stated to The Dodo:

“He is really personable. He is a fantastic buddy and a wonderful dog. He enjoys driving in the truck and taking in the sights out the window. We’ve traveled the entire nation, and he enjoys it.

On one of his journeys, José started to feel unwell. He had a severe stomach ache, and Mr. Midnight realized his favorite travel companion had a problem.

He stated:

“Mr. Midnight sensed something was wrong throughout the 15 hours I was in anguish. He didn’t eat or drink, and he didn’t appear to be happy. He had sorrowful eyes as he stared at me.

In order to visit a hospital and find out what was causing the discomfort, the man made the choice to leave the dog in the vehicle. As it turned out, his appendix was the source of the issue, and the physicians advised him to have emergency surgery.

The guy uttered:

“I didn’t want to do it when they informed me the doctor was going to do an emergency operation on me because I didn’t know what would happen to Mr. Midnight. He was waiting for me inside my 18-wheeler. He was more concerned about Mr. Midnight than I was.

Deanna Mahaley showed up after the patient informed the medical staff that Mr. Midnight was waiting for him in the truck and that a group of nurses were tasked with finding a place for him to stay while he was in the hospital.

Even though she and her family were already taking care of three rescue dogs, they were eager to welcome Mr. Midnight into their home.

Deanna stated to The Dodo:

“After Jose’s operation, I asked Wendy Johnson, the ER nurse in charge of the ultrasonography team, for details. I instantly sent my husband a text to let him know what was going on, and he left for the hospital to pick up Mr. Midnight. I went up to Jose’s room after work to introduce myself and let him know who was looking after his dog.
