A Despicable Woman In India Killed 8 Puppies In Front Of Their Mother, Because She Wanted To “Teach Her A Lesson”

The people of India were horrified by the deeds of a woman by the name of Ponnamma. Everything took place in the Indian city of Krishnanagar. She went completely crazy when a four-year-old dog named Ammu gave birth to her litter of eight puppies in a canal next to the woman’s front door.

Each cub was taken by mom, killed by beating it against rocks, and then placed in a field in front of her home. Ammu continued to look in terror.

According to the India Times, Ammu continued to push her infants in an effort to rouse them up. Ammu was spotted frantically fleeing in search of assistance. When the woman was questioned about why she had committed such a heinous act.

Residents of the area, who have traditionally been sympathetic toward dogs, were outraged by the news that the dog was still looking for her puppies five days after her death.

Among the neighbors, they said:

“I argued with the woman together with my neighbor. We warned her that what she done was a serious offense that was really harsh. She had no right to murder her cubs in front of her mother because they hadn’t done any harm to her.

Residents who were outraged complained to Cupa (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action), and the NGO filed a complaint against Ponnamma with the Peenya police the same day.

Ponnamma was taken into custody after police were alerted to the horrific sight.

Ammu reportedly tried to milk her deceased infants after digging them up because she was so depressed. The poor little puppy was heartbroken because she didn’t want to eat.

De Peenya Police Inspector B Aiyanna Redddy said:

“The accused was detained and then freed on bail. We have CCTV video and are accumulating proof. The charge sheet will be submitted, and the investigation is still underway.

After the terrible tragedy, poor Ammu was left sad and was taken in by a family. According to the India Times, Ammu tragically passed away from canine distemper, a deadly viral disease, 4 months later.

A volunteer brought the dog to a veterinary clinic, but it was too late to rescue it.

Sarvodaya Sevabhavi Samstha’s leader, Vinay Moray, said:

“On Wednesday, a volunteer named Nitin Bhatia observed that she was displaying symptoms of canine distemper, and he took her to Sarvodaya Sevabhavi Samstha. She could have been dealing with psychological trauma.
