Grandma Thinks ‘Aggressive’ Dog Is Going To Attack Little Girl, Until She Realizes It’s Saving Her Life

One of the finest pets a parent can give their kid is a dog. Dogs are devoted, loving animals who will do anything for their owners. Haus, the German shepherd dog owned by the DeLuca family, demonstrated the depth of his affection by defending his daughter from a snake assault.

Haus, a two-year-old who had been saved by the family, quickly returned the favor after the family.

Haus and Molly, 7, were in the backyard of the family’s Florida house when they came across a serious hazard. Haus immediately knew the situation was perilous and made the snap decision to take action, even though it meant he would take the brunt of the snake’s assault.

The mother of Molly, Donya, said on Facebook:

“Before the snake went, Haus maintained his ground while defending my daughter and took three bites. Molly is alright; she’s just angry and irritated.”

Haus did an astonishing thing to save the girl’s life. The two encountered a rattlesnake when they were outdoors playing. She attempted to bite Molly, demonstrating how poisonous these snakes are.

Haus, though, acted immediately. In a desperate attempt to protect Molly from the deadly bite of the snake, he leaped in between them. The dog was bitten three times by the snake, but the young girl was unharmed.

Initially, the girl’s grandma believed that the recently rescued dog intended to attack the child; however, she later understood that the dog had really saved the child’s life.

Haus obviously need immediate medical attention to prevent the poison from spreading throughout his body, so Molly’s grandma brought him to Connechusett Animal Hospital.

He was in severe need of aid. The dog was drooling profusely and his body was already limp.

The dog’s survival was in doubt even with the remedy, but Haus persisted.
