Man Takes His Paralyzed Dog For A Walk In A Cart Every Day, Because An Illness Prevents Him From Walking

Giving care to a dog with unique needs is unquestionably an act of love that improves your character.

While strolling through the streets of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Bryant Thompson spotted a guy exercising his dog in Shubie Park.

This was not your typical stroll since it had something unique. The man brought his dog, who was laying in a cart and was covered in blankets to keep him warm. Bryant’s attention was drawn to something.

Bryant snapped some pictures as the man was doing this with his pet dog.

Since the dog was unable to walk on its own due to ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord), Bryant could not resist his curiosity and immediately struck up a conversation with the man.

Usually, this condition affects mature dogs between the ages of 8 and 14.

The dog eventually loses the ability to move its rear limbs and is unable to walk as a result of this ailment.
