Retired Vet Builds Custom Wheelchairs For Disabled Pets And Helps Improve Lives For Countless Animals

Despite being retired, 90-year-old Dr. Lincoln Parkes still adores his work. He devoted a large portion of his life to providing aid to animals that needed it. This amazing retired veterinarian founded K-9 Carts and creates wheelchairs for animals with disabilities.

Although he has been retired for some time, he still works to aid animals, sometimes spending 8 to 10 hours each day creating handmade wheelchairs to enable disabled animals walk more independently.

Dr. Parkes worked as an orthopedic surgeon before retiring, and he used that experience to modify his ideas to make life better for animals. With its already-patent-protected innovations, the animal can move around more easily and pleasantly while still sitting in the chair.
