Hundreds Of People Come To The Rescue Of The Dog, And It Now Has The Best Family

Hundreds of individuals who want to assist the blind dog find the ideal home have been moved by the heartwarming tale of the canine who was abandoned by his owners after becoming blind.

Louis, a 3-year-old Labrador/German shepherd mix, had his eyes removed due to an undiagnosed eye infection and was then given to a kennel in California.

He was saved by Helen Woodward Animal Center, who knew his former family had abandoned him, and brought to their facility in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

After the surgery, they made the decision to surrender their dog since they couldn’t adapt to living with a blind dog. It had continued to be in this state after the callous family opted not to seek medical attention right away.

Louis was devastated and anxious upon arriving to the animal facility because it was a place he had never been before.

A medical examination found that the dog had previously suffered untreated wounds, including a fractured leg from a vehicle accident.

The animal center’s director, Hella Tyler, issued the following statement:

“It is crucial that individuals who are thinking about getting a pet are aware of the responsibilities they take on with them.”

The center’s staff was horrified to discover how Louis had been treated at his previous residence, but they were determined to change that. In order for the dog to adjust to a life without sight with the help of his new family, the rescue center placed him in a foster home.

They understood, however, that this was insufficient for Louis, who really needed a permanent family to begin the next chapter of his life. In an effort to match Louis with the ideal family, the shelter staff decided to post a video and numerous images of him on Facebook.

Hundreds of individuals were affected by the staff’s article, and they didn’t hesitate to like it and remark on it.

The center gave an update on the case after word of the incident traveled throughout the globe and stated that there had been hundreds of sincere reactions.
