Late last year, a guy named Junrell Fuentes Revilla was traveling by motorbike in the highlands of Cebu City, Philippines, when all of a sudden, he saw a dog that began following him. The dog continued to bark nonstop. He appeared to be attempting to gain your attention.
The biker believed the dog was trying to tell him something by being insistent, so he pulled over and stopped.
Junrell was in for a surprise when the dog, who appeared to be homeless, instructed him to follow him and took him to a landfill. He moved closer to investigate a little lump of earth that appeared to be moving there.
A member of the Hope For Strays rescue organization, Gea Ybarita, told The Dodo:
Junrell was shocked to discover a baby covered in a brown towel. She discovered him in an isolated location because it was at the summit of a mountain.
Without second thought, Junrell grabbed up the infant and carried him right away to the local police station, where the social welfare division stepped in to help.
The infant was saved and was in good condition because of the dog’s quick thinking and heroism. People wanted to assist the dog after hearing about his bravery in the local news media.
In an effort to locate the renowned dog, volunteers from Hope for Strays intended to travel to the highlands.
In the course of their investigation, they came across a man by the name of Blacky who claimed to be the dog’s owner. It was evident that Blacky was not a stray dog when the man brought them to his house where they found him with three other dogs.
The volunteers were at peace since Blacky was raised in a caring household, but it was obvious that his family required assistance.
