Little Pig Gets a Second Chance at Happiness Despite His Diagnosis

A wonderful huge pig named Floppy was born on January 18, 2020, but ever since he entered the world, his journey has been quite difficult. The young pig was born with head-shaking syndrome, an uncontrollable tremor, and the veterinarians believed he had no chance of survival.

Little Floppy was in a terrible condition since he was unable to walk, nurse, or do many other things on his own. Given that he would only survive for a week, the veterinarian who examined the small pig declared that it was the worst case he had ever seen and suggested death.

But Chelsey Weaning, a resident of West Virginia, wanted to give the pig a second opportunity and alter his life.

When Floppy was born, Chelsey claimed she discovered that her sister-in-law and her husband were having trouble deciding what to do with the pig. She decided to tell them she could take him home and take care of him 24 hours a day at that time.

Everyone was shocked since the woman didn’t have any knowledge of pigs, but she has always had a large heart for helping animals in need.

Chelsey mentioned to Bored Panda:

“While my husband and I were resolved to let this tiny pig continue his life, even if only for a short time, even if my sister-in-law detested the thought of euthanasia.”

When Floppy arrived at his new residence, a typical home, he was bottle-fed every three hours and had access to all the luxuries he need. Initally, the plan was to retain him for a few weeks, see him through, and then transport him to a sanctuary. However, circumstances altered a little.
