Discover A Cute Pink And Yellow Creature In Your Garden And Then Bring A Friend
Nature never ceases to amaze us, not only with its breathtaking vistas and profound secrets, but also with the stunning beauty of some creatures that, at first look, stand out from the rest owing to their highly distinct traits.
Few of us have the opportunity to see a wonder like Rebecca Lavoie has, but since she chose to post the stunning pictures, we can now enjoy the unique beauty of this moth.
Rebecca couldn’t believe her eyes when she spotted a pink and yellow moth on the veranda of her New Hampshire residence.
It was a rose maple moth, also called a butterfly, or another vividly colored insect. This small creature resembles a character from a cartoon.
Its fluffy body is painted a luscious shade of lemon-yellow, and its wings are extremely vivid and resemble those of a butterfly.
Rebecca was able to get a picture of the strange guest, which she then shared on her social media.
Rebecca commented, “This moth occurs in nature and is ON MY DECK.”
Despite being native to North America, where its range extends from southern Canada to Florida and Texas, it appears as though this butterfly may be from a tropical island.
Its distinctive pink hue and affinity for thriving on maple trees in neighboring residential areas and deciduous woodlands are the sources of its name. They do, however, adapt well to oaks and are not very picky about the type of house they choose.
Most people don’t have the good fortune to come across a moth as colorful as this one in the garden, and to top it all off, Rebecca later that evening found out that the moth wasn’t alone—to everyone’s astonishment, she had brought a buddy.
These small creatures appeared to find Rebecca’s garden to be a magical location, since they seemed to love their time there.
