At Jasmil Kennels in Upchurch, Kent, UK, a cute black lab was discovered abandoned and tethered to the fence. The dog arrived with a tragic statement from his owner, who wrote that the ancient Labrador “had not learnt to be kind” after all these years and requested that the kennel take him away.
Swale Borough Council’s Stray Dog Service took up the issue after finding that this dog had been abandoned on the street. According to the BBC, because the dog lacked a microchip, authorities are attempting to locate the pet’s father in order to clarify the issue and learn why he abandoned the animal after such a long time.
If a person is having problems housebreaking their dog, this is not the way to go, according to the organisation.
“Relocating it back is the final resort, but it isn’t the best solution, so we’d appreciate whatever information we can collect so we can speak with the owner.”
The message the dog delivered read:
“Please adopt me since my owner has abandoned me after ten years because I haven’t learnt how to be decent and has returned me to where he found me.”
Swale Borough Council Stray Dog Service stated on social media that they have located the Labrador’s father following an investigation and that they are now evaluating the issue.
