Homeless Dog Falls Asleep In Car After Being Rescued

Aaron Peters decided to stop at a gas station on his daily FedEx delivery route a few weeks ago, only to find a sad-looking stray puppy. He immediately texted his girlfriend Jayme Harley along with a picture of him telling her, “Go get him!”

Jamie was taken aback when she got the text message; she had previously expressed her desire to adopt a second dog to her partner, but he did not appear to agree, so receiving her message and rescuing this puppy was the greatest news of the day.

According to Jamie, who spoke to The Dodo,

“I knew it wasn’t a dream when I discovered it wasn’t a dream and that he truly wanted me to go get it when I realized it wasn’t a dream.”

Aaron fell in love with the pit bull at the gas station and couldn’t leave him there to his destiny, so he swiftly contacted his fiancée to come and collect him.

Aaron explains:

“It appeared that he was in need of a family.” “I figured we could get her a lovely place to live,” I said.

Jamie immediately got into his car and drove to the Kinta, Oklahoma, petrol station. He gave the abandoned dog water as soon as he got on the scene and tried to earn his trust.

She carried him to the car, and they hadn’t even departed before the dog was fast asleep; he felt secure.

Jamie continued, ”

“A female came up to me and said she saw him leap out of a car. Because he was a pit bull, no one would accept him. That crushed my heart because race shouldn’t matter. He only desired someone to adore him.”

He went to the vet right away, with the puppy resting quietly in the vehicle seat. They established that he did not have a microchip and that he was in good health, save from the scabies.

This is what the lady said:

“It gave me the impression that now was the ideal time. I had the feeling I would have a place to sleep that night. I was going to eat something. And he finally received the assistance he required.”
