Rescue Dog With Incredibly Long Neck Finds Forever Home

A long-necked dog with an unbelievable 10-inch neck that appears more like a giraffe than a dog was rescued and is now extremely happy with her new owners.

Ketama is a two-year-old Spanish greyhound whose neck is particularly distinctive. Despite the fact that this breed is known for being naturally lengthy, she is closer in size to a male.

Unfortunately, certain humans’ brutality has resulted in the extinction of this breed. They use them to help them hunt animals and compete in races, and they discard them when they are no longer useful.

Fortunately, Ketama was rescued by Monique Morsink and her boyfriend Martijn ten Voorde, who brought her to live with them in the Netherlands.

The woman shared additional details about her outstanding dog’s attitude and physical qualities, describing her as a rather unique dog.

LAD BIBLE quoted Monique as saying:

“She is an unusually tall girl for her ethnicity. She’s taller than the majority of females of her breed I’ve seen. She is of childish proportions ».

He also stated that because there are few races like Ketama, they are certain to grab notice when walking the streets. He also needs to use multiple belts and a safety harness, and she may easily escape because she is thin and nimble.

The woman told me that if Spanish greyhounds do not prove to be effective hunting dogs in their own country (Spain), they are frequently abused.

Monique explained:

«I learned that Spain has a serious problem. Hunting with greyhounds is a long-standing practice. However, if the dogs do not meet the hunter’s standards, they are killed or abandoned.”
