Dog’s Favorite Toy Gets Discontinued So Store Sends Him A Whole Box Of Them

Marley fell in love with a strawberry toy the first time he saw it while out shopping with his mother. After he picked it out and told his mother, Hayley Martin, that he needed it, she bought it for him, and it became his favorite toy from then on.

Marley has been playing with and adoring his strawberry toy for almost a year. It meant so much to him that when his mother met one of her heroes, Pentatonix singer Kirstin Maldonado, she bought her a strawberry toy to give to her own dog in the hopes that her dog would enjoy it as much as Marley had.

Unfortunately, Marley’s strawberry toy grew worn after over a year of continual use, and Marley’s mother was forced to throw it away.

“It was on its last legs when it was saturated and smeared in muck and cleaning couldn’t salvage it,” Martin said to The Dodo.

Martin immediately searched into purchasing a new strawberry toy for Marley — only to be disappointed when she discovered the toy had been discontinued.

Marley is a certified autistic service dog that works hard every day to assist his mother. She badly wanted to repay him by getting him a replacement strawberry toy, so she started posting online, asking if anybody knew where she might buy one.

Martin’s post was noticed by a manager from the store that sold the strawberry toy, who swiftly contacted her. Martin was overjoyed when she informed him she could send two strawberry toys.

She eagerly opened the parcel, expecting to find the two toys inside, but instead she discovered 20 strawberry toys.

Martin couldn’t believe it, and Marley couldn’t believe it either when he saw the toys.

“Marley was taken aback,” Martin explained. “He had no idea what to do!” He was really nice with it all, yet he was ecstatic! He spent an hour going over them all, nudge-nudge.
