Dog Lost For Years Is So Happy To Be In His Best Friend’s Arms Again

Volunteers at an animal shelter in Ukraine brought in a huge, blue-eyed stray dog earlier this month who had evidently had a rough existence on the streets. His gaunt body and scrawny coat betrayed the trials he’d endured.

Rescuers were adamant about finding the dog a new home, oblivious to the fact that he already had one. And someone was terribly missing him.

The dog’s photo was shot and uploaded online the day he was brought in to find possible homes.

Given his state and the amount of time it would take to get him back to health, it would have seemed improbable that the unfortunate dog would attract much attention — but the grief in his eyes struck a chord.
