An Sick Fox Is Saved From Euthanasia At The Last Minute By A Man Who Adopts Him

Foxes are undoubtedly one of those wild animals that, despite their intimidating size and exquisite beauty owing to their silky hair, may elicit some human aversion.

They, like all creatures, ought to be treated with the utmost care and affection, especially when they are in severe danger. When such happens, luckily, there are specialists and specialized institutions dedicated to your rescue and recuperation.

This is how The Fox Project learnt about a poor, badly injured young fox by the side of the road in Tunbridge Wells, England, battling for his life. He was immediately picked up by volunteers and transported to a veterinarian.

Although he was not in danger of dying, they understood that the animal would never be able to survive in the wild, therefore euthanasia was the only alternative that came to mind at the time.

But it was already written that this little fox was not just any little fox; by a stroke of luck, a guy with a big heart named Mike Trowler emerged at the last minute to save him and offer to adopt him.

As a result, the animal became the good man’s most cherished and pampered creature, resembling a puppy and losing much of its fox nature.

Cropper ate and drank from dog dishes, enjoyed belly rubs, and was even friendly with Mike’s cats. Cropper has such a doglike appearance that if he didn’t look like a fox, you’d swear he was a dog!

Despite the fact that foxes are sometimes the villains in movies, he stated the link he formed with Cropper was more than unbreakable, despite criticism from his friends.

Cropper died six years later, tragically. Mike, on the other hand, had the satisfaction of knowing he had given him the happiest of life, and the small animal knew he was loved and cared for.

Cropper had such an impact on Mike’s life that his friendship with the foxes did not end there. Now he devotes his time to saving fox cubs that require medical attention before being released back into the wild. He also adopted an adult fox named Jack, with whom he formed a strong friendship.
