Raccoons conjure up images of naughty critters rummaging for food and attacking gardens in the minds of some people. However, there is a raccoon named Tito who has made it his mission to show the world incorrect.
Tito, along with his friends Pipper and Cheeto, are three rescued raccoons who have found success in the art world.
Tito was initially more well-known among Internet users because to his YouTube channel and Instagram account, but his paintings have now become well-known to everybody.
The three raccoon painters have become a social media hit for their outstanding works of art, which are sold at various rates and are widely sought after by art aficionados and individuals who are impressed when they meet them.
The three creatures’ hand-painted Jackson Pollock-style paintings make everyone fall in love and are quite hilarious.
These artists were so enraged that the media sought Suzanne MacDonald, an animal behaviorist from the University of York in Toronto, to learn more about raccoons.
Everyone wants to know if these creatures are indeed drawn to art.
Suzanne explained to Boredpanda:
“Any animal may be taught to paint.” All you need is a consistent supply of food incentives and patience.
Suzanne further stated that raccoons find it simple to paint since they can hold and manipulate objects with their hands. However, there is no scientific evidence that these creatures like art, and it is difficult to ask them why; they are the only ones who know.
People typically think of these creatures as scavengers, although they are essentially carnivores like dogs and cats.
They consume everything, just like people, and sniffing through waste is only one of their many survival strategies.
Suzanne stated:
“Raccoons may eat a wide variety of foods, including rubbish in urban areas. They also have extremely sensitive legs that give grip, allowing them to devour a wide range of foods.
Tito’s major objective on social media has been to clarify these principles, which he has done quite successfully, as seen by his over 500,000 YouTube subscribers.
