A Dog With An Extraordinarily Long Neck Finds A Lifelong Home After Being Rescued
She was rescued and is now extremely happy with her new home. She has an unbelievable long neck and looks more like a giraffe than a dog. She is around 10 inches tall and looks more like a giraffe than a dog.
Ketama is a two-year-old Spanish greyhound whose neck is particularly distinctive. Despite the fact that this breed is inherently lengthy, it is closer in size to a male.
Unfortunately, some humans’ wickedness has made this race a victim. They utilize them to aid in the hunting of animals and in races, and they discard them when they are no longer useful.
Fortunately, Ketama was rescued by Monique Morsink and her companion Martijn ten Voorde, who brought her to live with them in the Netherlands.

«She is an unusually tall girl for her ethnicity. It’s taller than the majority of females of its kind that I’ve observed. It has a child’s measurements on it.

The woman told me that if Spanish greyhounds do not prove to be effective hunting dogs in their own country (Spain), they are frequently abused.
Monique explained:
«I learned that Spain has a serious problem. Hunting with greyhounds is a long-standing practice. However, if the dogs are not suitable for the hunter, they are killed or abandoned.
Monique discovered Ketama due to a network of Spanish Greyhound rescue facilities that work diligently to spare them from maltreatment. Her mother is overjoyed that the cute “giraffe” has turned out to be a naughty, goofy, and amusing ambassador for the Spanish Greyhound.
People are anticipated to become more aware of this sort of animal and its plight in Spain as a result of Ketama’s peculiar qualities.
Monique is a joy to have in the family, and she only wants attention. Ketama may be a bit naughty and arrogant at times.

«Ketama is constantly there in our home, wanting to be with you. He is also incredibly intelligent and will do anything on the spur of the moment. She has a tendency to be mischievous. You can see in his eyes that if you’re doing your thing and he believes he deserves more attention, he’ll do something wrong.
Ketama frequently seeks for anything to grasp and throws it in the air before playing, but she constantly glances around to check if she is being observed. She is a pretty bright dog that, at times, used all of her ingenuity to get what she wants, even deceiving her parents.
Monique continued:
“He put his ball beneath the sofa and started weeping while eating breakfast.” He dashed to the table to take my meal when I stood up from the table and knelt to collect the ball. That was a pretty enjoyable experience.
