In Her New Home, A Chicken That Escaped From An Industrial Farm Finds Love And Happiness

Despite the fact that factory farms are among the cruelest places on the planet, we occasionally come across stories of hope, such as the story of this hen who fled from a farm, was saved, and eventually found something that many of these creatures will never have: a permanent home.

The terrified animal was able to entirely transform his life with the support of a married couple and the Open Cage group.

Open Cage is a group that opposes these businesses and is leading a fight to shut down these facilities.

The hen was discovered freezing and hungry in the garden of a house in Denmark in the midst of the winter.

Lina Lind Christensen and her husband, who run an animal sanctuary, learnt of the situation and decided to give the frightened hen, which they called Victoria, a home. She slept for several days after returning home, exhausted after her lengthy escape voyage.

Victoria grew to feel protected and found affection and comfort in her human rescuers over time, something she had never experienced before. She felt so comfortable and protected with them that she started doing strange things like sleeping with Lina’s husband.

Victoria had come to the right place and had found the love and stability she so desperately needed after going through a difficult period.

Victoria’s cheeky attitude began to show after several days of relaxing and gaining confidence; she was too interested and affectionate.

He goes all over the place, he enjoys the large green area in his garden, he enjoys the sun, and he enjoys chasing butterflies and other wildlife.

Despite her hectic daily schedule, she always makes time to snuggle with her favorite people after completing her tasks.

Unfortunately, sleeping in the cold for several days during their protracted journey had negative consequences that continued to damage Victoria’s health. Unfortunately, because their feathers were not thick enough to keep them warm, the tips of their toes had to be removed.

Fortunately, Victoria has a fighter’s spirit and was able to recuperate fast; she is unconcerned with her unusual fingers. Victoria’s main concern is being able to be happy and enjoy the freedom she enjoys in the yard with her friends.

Unfortunately, millions of chickens, like Victoria, do not have the same luck and are forced to live in filth and terror. The farms’ hygienic conditions are terrible, and the birds are confined to cages with no access to natural light.

Farmers force them to develop at a faster rate, causing them to accumulate weight, which many birds are unable to maintain. Many hens die during the fattening process because the tension on their hearts becomes too much for them to tolerate, resulting in death.

This is not a way of life for any living creature, which is why many animal lovers, like as Lina, are opposed to it and want it to be abolished.

Despite the fact that many groups are working toward this objective, there is still more to be done to attain animal liberation.
