An opossum named Peach has a disease called alopecia. She doesn’t have hair on her body.
Peach was so sick and she wouldn’t have survived the cold.
A stranger saved her life and Peach is feeling well now.
Gail Barnes, executive director of SPWRC, saw the hairless opossum when it first came at the center.
She has said that opossum was instantly put in an incubator for rehabilitation.
Peach took medications and now she is on her way to recovery. She is a little bit healthy now.
