Loong Dum, a homeless guy from Thailand, cares for and feeds stray cats despite the hardships of his existence at a train station. He may not be a parent, but he understands the importance of taking care of others.
So he can purchase meals for his friends, he sells limes on the street every day. Occasionally he runs out of food, but his first concern is to feed his pet kitties, no matter what. To him, they are his family, and they rely on him to provide them with the necessities of life.
‘I don’t mind skipping meals as long as the cat gets fed,’ he added.
An article about the lime seller Loong Dum has gone viral when Warunya Wattanasupachoke observed him selling them for 20 baht a bag with the sign, “Proceeds will pay for stray cat’s food expenditures.”
Many animal lovers are touched by his generosity and have offered to aid him after hearing about his tale in the news and on social media. The limes were a big draw for some of them, while other people brought him cat food and supplies to give him.
He was then taken for a haircut and given brand new clothes by other people. To make up for losing his beloved pets, he went back to the streets and sold limes.
