The Veterinarian Who Helped Him Turn His Life Around Fell In Love With The Three-Legged Kitty

When a beautiful Burmese kitten, just over two weeks old, was found imprisoned in a box spring in an apartment in Manhattan, New York, he was saved from a tough position (United States). The little kitty had lost one of its legs and had to be rushed to the Veterinary Emergency Group for care.

Etienne, the cat, needed 24 hours of emergency medicine. So Camille Duvieusart BVMS, the clinic’s emergency doctor, decided to keep him so that the kitten could get the best care possible while preparing for his surgery. The fluffy white kitten was focused and brave to live.

Little Wanderers NYC, a New York City-based rescue group, told Love Meow:

“He was sent over to the Veterinary Emergency Group ( VEG ), who contacted us for assistance, which we gladly provided.”

The vet was charmed over by a three-legged kitten.

His new foster mother took care of everything the kitten need, and the resident dog stepped up to provide a hand and give company. Despite his small stature and early age, the chance of infection was quite high, necessitating surgery as soon as possible.

The  rescue group:

“The surgeons at Animal Medical Center decided that waiting was too dangerous, so they operated on him when he was too little. The operation went well.

After the surgical operations, Etienne began to feel better and surmounted every difficulty. Finally, he was able to return home with Dr. Camille, and he gradually won her heart.

The kitty was relaxed and peaceful. He even liked spending the day with his new canine best friend, who never left his side and went out of his way to make him feel protected.

Dr. Camille had known from the start that Etienne would stay at home for the rest of his life. She took care of his wounds and gave him loves and cuddles, and the kitten grew into a naughty youngster in just a few weeks, playing, running, and investigating everything like any other kitty.

Little Wanderers NYC personnel confirmed:

“In a terrible accident at a hoarder’s house, Etienne lost part of his leg. With this damage, he must have been in his sixth life. He suffered a complete leg amputation and is doing well thanks to the excellent personnel at Animal Medical Center.”

The three-legged kitten gets a second chance at life; he now has a loving home, a mother who looks after him, and a dog friend with whom he can play and fight. You will never have to worry about food or safety again.

You can now casually run around your house’s corridors while being treated with love and care.
