In the Stands, An Olympic Gold Medalist Reveals What He’s Been Knitting
Tom Daley, a competitive diver, just earned a gold medal for the United Kingdom at the Tokyo Olympics.
But, as a result of his actions on the sidelines, he’s now attracting a lot of attention.
Daley has been photographed calmly knitting in the stands in recent days, a charming hobby he’s taken up to relax between events.
Daley has finally revealed the lovely projects he’s been working on: Canine clothing.

Daley published an album of his masterpieces on an Instagram page dedicated to his knitting and crocheting.
He tweeted, “I created several doggy jumpers for my buddies!” and added, “I was constructing another one at the pool yesterday lol.”
They’re all adorable, by the way:
Not unlike preparing for the Olympics, knitting gifts (for pups and otherwise) is a labor of love — and on both accounts, Daley’s efforts certainly paid off.
