Fetch game invented by two clever dogs

Meet Leyla and Bear, a couple of adorable puppies who understand that the finest times are spent together.

Look no farther than this modern spin on a classic game that Leyla and Bear created on their own to prove it.

The two dogs and their family finally moved into a new home after years of living in an apartment, which has provided some new opportunities for fun. They can truly play fetch now that they’re inside.

The dogs’ owner, Kristine Lequerique, told The Dodo, “We started by throwing the ball upstairs [from the living room] so they’d have to run up and down the stairs.”

Leyla, on the other hand, chose to stay upstairs when the ball was tossed one day. Rather than jumping back down to retrieve it, she “passed” it to Bear, who was waiting below, making the game equally enjoyable for everyone.
